Turning Play into Purpose at the Illinois State Fair!
J&J is proud to donate $17,000+ to local charities in Springfield!
For J&J Gaming’s 5th consecutive year of providing the excitement of video gaming at the Illinois State Fairs, J&J is donating its share of the Video Gaming Terminal revenue to local Springfield & Du Quoin area charities. This year, we have selected eleven charities to be our 2025 donation recipients. Springfield Charities include: Animal Protective League, Chatham Friends of the Parks, Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway, SIU School of Medicine Simmons Cancer Institute, and the WILD Canine Rescue. Du Quoin Charities include: the Dowell Volunteer Fire Department, Du Quoin Food Pantry, Du Quoin Humane Society, Finding Forever Animal Rescue, Nubability, and the Special Olympics of Region K. This effort further showcases J&J’s proud support for the local communities, our partners, and patrons!
From August 7th to the 17th, visitors to the Illinois State Fair in Springfield can enjoy the ultimate gaming experience in the Grandstand with 30 Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs), courtesy of J&J Gaming. Southern Illinois patrons can also enjoy 10 VGTs in the Du Quoin Grandstand from August 22nd through September 1st! J&J Gaming is proud to once again work with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Gaming Board, and Light & Wonder. J&J Gaming is thrilled to see fairgoers for yet another fair season and bring them the chance to win big at the 2025 Illinois State Fair.
ID Scanners will be placed at the entrance of each gaming area to ensure patrons are at least 21 years of age. In 2021, J&J Gaming became the first Terminal Operator licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board to be awarded the opportunity to provide VGTs at the Illinois State Fair.
