J&J Gaming Completes Acquisition of Midwest Amusements!
Continues J&J Gaming’s Growth and Diversification Strategy with Additional Operations in Nebraska, Iowa, and Wyoming.

EFFINGHAM, IL, January 14, 2026 – J&J Gaming announced today its acquisition of Midwest Amusements LLC, a multi-state operator that manages over 420 gaming devices across 101 locations in Nebraska, Iowa, and Wyoming. Since its founding in 2019 by Matthew Philippsen and Maya Shannon, Midwest Amusements has earned a reputation as a trusted partner known for its expertise in the convenience store and truck stop market.
J&J Gaming is the leader in the installation and operation of regulated gaming devices in restaurants, bars, taverns, convenience stores, truck stops and other authorized venues. The addition of Midwest Amusements will result in a platform that has more than 32,200 gaming devices in 4,200 locations across 7 jurisdictions.
