In recognition of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, J&J Gaming representative Nick Agopian attended the Governor of Wyoming’s proclamation signing at the State Capitol. The event brought together members of the Wyoming Gaming Commission and regulated gaming operators from across the state to reaffirm a shared commitment to responsible gaming practices and player protection.
As of February 26th, the City of Chicago now allows bars, restaurants, veteran & fraternal organizations, and other authorized establishments to apply for a video gaming license with the Illinois Gaming Board. The previous ban on gaming in certain Cook County municipalities has been lifted as the Chicago City Council voted to approve video gaming in December 2025, nearly thirteen years after video gaming first went live in Illinois under the Video Gaming Act. The City of Chicago has since submitted its opt-in request to the Illinois Gaming Board, allowing video gaming machines to be placed within the City of Chicago.
J&J Amusements proudly announces that Sam Westgate, Director of Business Development at J&J, has been inducted into the American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) Amusement Industry Hall of Fame, one of the industry’s highest honors recognizing a lifetime of leadership, innovation, and service to the coin-op community. The AAMA announced its 2026 Hall of Fame Class during the Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas on March 18th, 2026.
